Night Gospel Presents: xCONGOx

What happens when the horror-synth masters in Night Gospels focus some of their talents into making grindcore / powerviolence based upon movies they love? You get sixteen improvised blasts and one long sludgey dirge of an evil gorilla loving shit show - that's what happens.

If you are a completely ignorant to the cinematic masterpiece that is 1995's Congo, here is what Google summarizes it as: Scientist Karen Ross (Laura Linney) is sent by her father-in-law, mogul R.B. Travis (Joe Don Baker), to the Congo to determine the whereabouts of his son's missing diamond-hunting team. Led by expert guide Kelly (Ernie Hudson Sr.), Ross and a mismatched search party -- including primatologist Dr. Peter Elliot (Dylan Walsh), treasure hunter Herkermer Homolka (Tim Curry) and a gorilla -- discover a danger far more sinister than anything they expected to find, even in the heart of the jungle.

This is the first entry into a franchise of xFILMx albums to be made by Night Gospel and friends. Stay tuned for more debauchery.
