We've been working on this one for a while.

Wet Cassettes first reached out to the band a few years ago, probably after first hearing "Apparatus Division," which we loved. But between schedules and touring and the band doing a bunch of other awesome releases on other amazing labels - things got a little lost in the ether. That was until they were put back on track during the spring of 2023.

And boy, was the wait worth it.

What you get here are three tracks of Mononegatives at (possibly) their grungiest yet most succinct trip through interstellar, or interdimensional space.

One track bleeds in the other bleeds into another with warped synths twirling and blipping like the emergency signal on your escape pod has just gone off. The drums drive the hyperspace function forward and back with mechanical precision yet a human-guided groove. Guitars twang out and bend your consciousness and concepts of reality. All while our narrator corresponds bleakness from the depths. Like radio waves from a black-and-white triangular portal beyond the realm we usually partake in. We can't look away or turn our ears off, we just move with the signal—movement for you and for the absence of you to be experienced across magnetic tape.

This is Digital Movement.
This is Mononegatives space and we are just passengers in it.
