Nothing says "Welcome to the world, baby girl" like some noisy, blackened doom metal, amirite?

Improvised by husband and wife duo C. and N. Hertzberg (marking the first time C. has played drums on a recording!) during the early months of expecting their first child. The two tried originally to write proper songs but had more fun doing this, where they spontaneously tried to summon doom greats like Thou, Bongzilla, Electric Wizard, and Sabbath. The recordings were then trimmed and edited, and vocals were layered later.

Lyrics, although mostly unintelligible, comment mostly on the stresses of becoming an old person with a mortgage, a job, and soon: a child.

In Brazil (according to a friend), the term "rotten finger" means someone who makes poor decisions. And for this husband and wife duo- they thought that was an ironic choice, but it also sounded sick as hell for a band name.

Enough material was recorded for a second EP, too - so stay tuned for that.
