While things might seem jarring or in a perpetual state of chaotic randomness from an outsider's perspective, at Wet Cassettes, we truly try to maintain a sense of balance to achieve label inner-peace.

What we mean by that is we try to deliver to YOU, our faithful listeners, the weirdest and dirtiest sounds we can- in a harmonic relation to each other. For instance, when we release a filthy, gritty punk album (like the new D. Sablu), we try to balance it out with one of our other favorite pastimes: whacked-out noisy punk free-jazz- and this album has exactly that.

Bringing together two of the Southwest and Midwest's most innovative sound artists (in my opinion), we have what will hopefully be the first in a series of collaborations between PKWST (aka Parker Weston) and Alexander Adams.

With a roster of bands and projects that includes (but isn't limited to): Plague of Carcosa, Butoh Sonics, Smogma, Sugar Pills Bone, Claustronaut, Schadenhaus, Bitch Hog, and releases on labels like Lurker Bias, Doughgirl Tapes, Subruckus Collective and more- we couldn't be more excited to bring these two minds skronking, clashing and buzzing into our roster as well.

Expect all of the boundless drum clangings, smashing, and tapping of free-jazz, amped up and modulated with some serious synth tone beeps, buzzes, and noises we don't even have adjectives for yet.
