TLDR;
I was having a very sudden spurt of inspiration coming down from the ides of March and wanted to capture all the facets of my audio interests in two nights of recording. Song "genres" (which, I hate to have to use to classify my work, but whatever) vary from noise rock and punk to black metal to drone, post-rock, and more. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with this album. I pitched it a few places- they thought it was a little too all over the place. I agree - but that's where my head was/is/going. Then I remembered I run this awesome label full of fellow freaks who enjoy grungey noisey shit like this. I haven't released a proper solo album under my own name in years on WC, so here we are. Enjoy the ebbs and flows, so as life.

Recorded March 21 and 22, 2022 on an iPhone

All instruments were improvised and looped live (via a single loop pedal) with layers added in real-time. Vocals were dubbed after that and were composed of prose and improvisation. Lyrics included here were/are the basis of the vocal takes, but include lots of riffing. Tracks edited/cut down after for clarity and conciseness.
